The visors are strong and durable, made out of a very tough, impact resistant, UV stabilized polycarbonate.
Fortran visors are available in cowl (cap), square cutaway, or tunnel. Colours are traffic yellow, green or black. The visors have a solid colour throughout. The traffic yellow and green visor interior surface is painted with a matte black finish to meet ITE specifications.
The stainless steel hardware to install the visor comes attached to the door of the Fortran signal. The visors are easy to install and can be oriented for either vertical or horizontal mounting of the signal head.
The visors have been tested to withstand severe weather and wind conditions when mounted on Fortran Signals.
