Our polycarbonate traffic signal heads have been installed across thousands of North American intersections. We build our signals from a UV Stabilized, Flame Retardant Polycarbonate. Poly is lighter than aluminum, tougher and more indestructible. Polycarbonate retains colour and resists fading. The color is uniform throughout the thickness of the material, eliminating the fading and paint peeling associated with the aluminum signals.
Our polycarbonate signal line has been designed using a “Building Block” approach—individual signal housings can be quickly and easily combined to meet your specific signaling requirements. Custom making your own bespoke signal head is no longer an out of reach, arduous or expensive undertaking
Our products are made in Canada and built for Canadian conditions. All our our poly signal heads have been tested to with stand the toughest conditions. From the scorching sun, heat and humidity of summer to the sleet, snow, wind and ice of Canadian winters, our signal heads have seen it all. Stainless steel hardware is used throughout. Each section has a bottom drip shield to prevent water infiltration. Neoprene gaskets on both door and lens, completely seal the interior of the traffic signal head. Dual latches and hinges keep the doors well secured to prevent moisture and dirt from entering. Our products are built to the highest standards, to outlast our competition.
The polycarbonate signals have top and bottom openings for a standard 1-1 1/2” pipe bracket, which is mounted using a single point hanger, vertical bracket, span wire hanger or plumbizer arm. Poly signals can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Our signal heads have many uses beyond controlling traffic. They can be a used in a multitude of professional and personal settings. Especially our simple Red/Green signal head also known as our "Dock & Door" signal. These simple 'stop n go' signals are indispensable to loading docks, parking garages and other industrial settings. These signals can also be used to control the flow of people in crowded or busy settings. Stop and go signals are often used at hospital waiting rooms, ticket kiosks and theme parks. Our stand alone beacons are a great way to draw pedestrian and vehicle attention to signs, advertisements etc.
