description

General Traffic’s pedestrian pushbutton was designed for those traffic departments that are both cost and quality-conscious. The PB-3-1000 is surprisingly inexpensive with all the features found on much more expensive pushbuttons. The pushbutton switch is heavy-duty momentary type that will last for virtually millions of mechanical operations. It is also easily replaceable, since it is threaded into the rear of the cover. A rubber dust cover is provided for the actuator and may be easily removed if desired.

The PB-3-1000 pedestrian pushbutton will fit any flat or curved surface. An accessory spacer is available for use on flat surfaces, color matched to the housing. In addition to the 1/2″ threaded wire entrance hole in the back of the unit, a ½” threaded conduit entrance with plug is provided for use on wooden pole installations. A neoprene gasket is also provided to insure a weather-tight fit between cover and housing.
