Return, Repair or Replace

An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be obtained from us before returning merchandise.

To request an RMA, Please contact your Sales Representative directly. For orders placed through the Order Desk, contact the Order Desk

you will need the following information when making your request:

  • Name & Company Name
  • Phone Number and/or Email
  • Ship From Address
  • Item Description and Part Number(s), if available
  • Serial Number(s), if available
  • Reason for Return

We may contact your for additional information regarding your return. COD shipments to Fortran Traffic Systems will not be accepted. All requests are processed within 48 hours.

Standard Replacement

Reference the issued RMA number on the outside of the return shipment. Upon receipt of the defective product, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product and ship it out in the most expeditious manner possible.

Advanced Replacement

An Advanced Shipment option can be requested upon management approval. Requesting this option implies that the customer has the defective part and will ship them back to Fortran Traffic Systems within 5 business day of receipt of the replacement product.

If you are unable to return the product before the due date, an invoice will be issued for the non-returned product and a credit or refund will be issued within 3 business days of product being returned.

Open, Non-Defective Product

Products are eligible for return within 5 days of invoice and subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price. Some or all of the restocking fee may be waived at our discretion. Product that cannot be repackaged and restocked will be returned to the customer.

Non-Warranty Repair Charges

Products being returned for non-warranty repair will be issued a quote estimate and communicated to the customer for approval.

Shipping your RMA

After obtaining an RMA number, returns must be shipped freight prepaid – to Fortran Traffic Systems Ltd. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of the package. If a product is shipped without reference to an RMA number prominently displayed on the outside of the package, it will be returned to you unopened.

NOTE:
Please properly package your shipment to prevent loss or damage in transit. Do not drop off/deliver items to our Controller Department as you risk the item(s) being lost or misplaced.
