Create drawings for Traffic Signal and Hardware assemblies, Traffic Signal Controller assemblies, Electrical and Electronic Enclosures, Factory Production Drawings and or new products as required
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create and modify mechanical drawings for traffic signal controller assemblies
2. Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders
3. Verify functionality of prototype parts and assemblies
4. Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment
5. Responsible for meeting deadlines
6. Clean, maintain and organize work and desk area
7. Perform related duties as needed by supervision
PHYISICAL DEMANDS & ABILITIES:
1. Occasionally required to stand for long periods of time
2. Required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
3. Regularly required to use hand tools, air tools, electrical tools while prototyping
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. University/College Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
2. Experience with using AutoCAD, Solidworks and other CAD packages
3. Minimum 1-Year Mechanical designer and/or design manufacturing experience
4. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
5. Attention to detail
6. Maintain a clean & safe environment
7. Class G drivers license preferred
