The Reflectorized Backboard has a uniform color throughout the thickness of the material, eliminating the fading, paint-peeling, and cracking associated with aluminum backboards.
The Reflectorized Backboard is made with 3M™ Diamond Grade reflective tape, increasing the visibility of the traffic signals—thereby increasing safety. The Reflectorized Backboard fits several major manufacturers’ polycarbonate traffic signals and is now accepted in most major cities and regions across Canada. It is also available as a retrofit for existing aluminum signal heads.
