The vertical bracket
provides a strong and durable mounting for traffic and pedestrian signals. The bracket
consists of a pair of aluminum arms. Each arm has a length of pipe, which has a threaded
elbow at one end and a pole plate at the other. A typical installation has the pole plates
attached to a pole with stainless steel strapping (not included with the bracket). The
signal head can be rotated to face in any direction.
An alternate configuration of the bracket can support two signal heads
back to back. The pole plate can also be attached to a wall if necessary.
The standard arm length is 16 inches, but arms can be ordered at
various other lengths to suit the application.
