The XCam-i is a field deployable video sensor for traffic automatic incident detection (AID) and congestion warnings, and is an ideal solution for enhancing new and existing closed circuit television (CCTV) deployments. The XCam-i is a valuable asset for applications such as hard shoulder monitoring, dynamic emergency lane and work zone monitoring. It enhances the performance of highway patrols on sensitive stretches of road.

The XCam-ng is a real-time video sensor for advanced detection functions at intersections and on ramps that also offers an alternative to embedded magnetic loop detectors, providing data such as queue length and static occupancy. It also incorporates an innovative anti-gridlock function for intersections.

The XCam system eliminates the constraints imposed by embedded loops, and power and communications infrastructure are also not an issue since XCam provides built-in low power consumption and wireless communications.
