Technical Sales Representative

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative who will be responsible for growing sales to existing and new customers through effective prospecting, responsive customer service. The position is primarily an outside sales role with responsibility for a broad product portfolio of specialized equipment related to Traffic Control (ie. traffic signals, controllers, hardware).

The position will appeal to a customer-focused, entrepreneurial and competitive individual who enjoys being part of a team where one's contribution is valued and visible. Product training is provided.

The position includes all aspects of the sales cycle and offers room for long term career growth.


  • Active prospecting to increase the company's customer base
  • Increasing market share among the company's existing clientele.
  • Provide presentations to customers
  • Preparing quotations and following up on customer inquiries.
  • Developing proactive sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Must be able to travel.


  • Technical aptitude for mechanical and/or electronic equipment.
  • College diploma in a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
