Rugged and reliable, these RF coaxial cable modems are an ideal choice for demanding applications. The Fortran NFSK RF cable modem communication module has survived the tests of time in both multidrop and point-to-point communication topologies. With the increased overhead associated with current protocols, their time has just begun. Front panel mounted connections, indicators, test points, and controls simplify the use of this communication module. A standalone model is available complete with RS-232C interface and integrated power supply.
Available with user specified frequencies in both the J-band and Guard-band frequency ranges, these cable modems are suitable for applications in: Traffic Control and Freeway Traffic Management, Industrial Process Control, CCTV Systems for Non-Broadcast services, Security and Energy Management Systems, Data Acquisition and CAD/CAM Systems.
