Citilog Video Detection and Incident Management

Fortran Traffic Systems announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Citilog (France) in 2002. The partnership has provided Fortran entrée into the Video Detection and Incident Management markets in Canada and the rest of North America.

Integration of Citilog's technology into Fastracs gives us strategic access to a number of key ITS markets outside of our traditional urban signal systems market. Citilog's unique video applications are quickly emerging as the standard for Automatic Incident Detection, Vehicular Data Collection and Safety Management of tunnels, freeways and urban roadways".

Fortran is currently providing these Citilog applications:

	MediaRoad (PDF) for Automatic Incident Detection and traffic measurements on motorways and highways;
	MediaTunnel (PDF) for Automatic Incident Detection, traffic measurements and decision making tools to guarantee safety in tunnels; and
	MediaCity (PDF) for intersection control in urban environments.
	VisioPaD (PDF) Plug and Detect Video Solutions utilizing full PTZ camera functionality without requiring any configuration or setup.
